Trusted parenting principles, made practical

Good parenting guidance exists. Parent Behaviour SOS organises it for the exact moment you need it.

The pack brings together practical principles found across established public-health, paediatric and child-development guidance. These approaches are already used by families worldwide. Kitwise organised them into an original five-part framework — Pause, Connect, Boundary, Follow and Repair — and turned them into 72 practical scripts, decision flows, parent tools and a phone-oriented SOS deck. The result is not more theory to remember. It is a practical system: what to check, what to say, what to do next and what to avoid.

  • 72 original scripts across 12 everyday situations
  • Five practical steps: Pause, Connect, Boundary, Follow and Repair
  • Informed by CDC, NHS and AAP guidance — Kitwise is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by these organisations

Educational guide only. Not diagnosis, therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for individual professional advice. If you are concerned about your child's wellbeing, please seek professional support.

Questions answered

Everything you need to decide.

Clear answers about what's included, who it's for, and how delivery works.

What is included?
Five Core Pack PDFs — Start Here, What to Say When, Decision Flows, Parent Tools and Mobile SOS Deck — plus a separate 22-page Child Printables bonus. You receive six PDF files and 111 pages in total.
What ages is this intended for?
Parent Behaviour SOS is designed for parents and caregivers of children roughly ages 2–8. The scripts and suggested actions should be adapted to the child's age, communication, ability, care needs and situation.
Which situations are covered?
The What to Say When guide covers 12 everyday situation categories: Big feelings and tantrums · Refusal and no · Transitions and leaving · Bedtime · Mornings and getting ready · Screens · Whining, interrupting and repeated asking · Hitting, biting, kicking and throwing · Sibling conflict · Public moments, errands and waiting · Directions, chores and clean-up · Reconnection and repair.
Must I read all 111 pages?
No. Start with the 10-page Start Here guide, then open only the section relevant to your situation. Most parents use one or two files at a time.
Can I use it entirely from my phone?
Yes. The Mobile SOS Deck is formatted specifically for phone screens. The other PDFs can also be opened on a phone, though they are designed for A4 viewing.
Must anything be printed?
No. All files are digital PDFs. The Parent Tools forms are fillable on-screen. The Child Printables bonus is designed to be printed, but this is optional.
What if my download email does not arrive?
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, email hello@kitwise.store with your order number and the email address used at checkout. Do not include private information about your child.
What parenting approach informs the pack?
Parent Behaviour SOS uses an evidence-informed connection-and-boundaries approach, bringing together widely used principles from positive parenting, emotion coaching, clear and consistent boundaries, predictable routines and reconnection after difficult moments. Kitwise organises these into five usable steps: Pause, Connect, Boundary, Follow and Repair. It is not a rigid programme — parents can adapt the language to their child's age, communication and situation.
Is the pack based on professional guidance?
The pack is informed by practical principles found in established public-health, paediatric and child-development guidance, including resources from organisations such as the CDC, NHS and American Academy of Pediatrics. Kitwise independently created the scripts, decision flows, tools and product design to make those principles easier to use in everyday family situations.
Will every script work for every child?
Every child and situation is different, so the pack is designed to be adapted rather than followed word for word. It helps parents choose a suitable starting point, use fewer and clearer words, maintain safe boundaries and decide on one manageable next step.
Is this therapy or professional advice?
No. This is an educational guide for personal use. It is not diagnosis, therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for individual professional advice. If you are concerned about your child's wellbeing, please seek professional support.
